Quality & Certifications
We stand behind what we ship.
HENJ trades on its own account. That means the grade you approved is our responsibility, not a supplier's — from inspection at origin to the moment it reaches your door.
How we work
Six Things We Control
Quality in this trade is not a certificate on a wall. It is a series of decisions made before the goods move.
Inspection at Origin
We check goods before they move, not after they land. For dry goods that means verifying the lot against the agreed grade; for fresh produce it means seeing the pack-out.
Food Safety Compliance
Shipments are prepared to meet UAE import requirements and the standards of the destination market, with testing arranged where a buyer or an authority requires it.
Cold Chain Integrity
Perishables are pre-cooled at source and kept cold through packing, transit and handover. A break in the chain is the single most common reason produce arrives unsellable.
Documentation Per Shipment
Certificate of origin, phytosanitary or health certificate as the product requires, packing list and commercial invoice — prepared ahead of arrival.
Packing to Specification
Export-grade cartons and bags chosen for the product and the journey, with private label and custom print where you need it.
Consistency Between Shipments
The grade you approved is the grade that keeps arriving. Where a crop or a market forces a change, we tell you before we ship, not after.
With every shipment
Documentation Issued
Which documents apply depends on the product and the destination. We prepare what the consignment needs.
Certificate of Origin
Issued for every consignment, attested where the destination requires it.
Phytosanitary Certificate
For fresh produce, confirming the consignment meets plant-health requirements.
Health Certificate
For eggs and other products of animal origin, from the competent authority at source.
Packing List & Invoice
Prepared ahead of arrival so clearance is not waiting on paperwork.
Being on the market floor
We see the goods before you do.
HENJ operates from Al Aweer Fruits & Vegetables Market in Ras Al Khor — the point where the region's fresh trade actually happens. Being on the floor is itself a quality control: we inspect what lands, reject what does not meet the grade, and move the rest the same day.
You are welcome to inspect any consignment at Al Aweer before it moves. For dry goods we send samples from the exact lot you would be buying, so what you approve is what ships.
Want to See the Goods First?
Inspect a consignment at Al Aweer, or ask us for a sample from the exact lot. We would rather you check than take our word for it.
